CALENDAR AND EVENTS

EES is currently keeping open as many classrooms as possible. Family Support Specialists will be working with you to determine what dates will best work to return your child to the classroom.

It is important to know that some teachers are not able to return to the classroom and the teachers that we do have on site are required to remain at home if they show any symptoms similar to those produced by COVID-19. Our ability to keep classrooms open is dependent upon our ability to sufficiently staff each classroom and this may change from day to day.

There will be new health protocols in place which must be followed. You will all receive a copy of those guidelines prior to returning your child to the classroom. Please do contact our Executive Director should you have any questions or concerns at:  dgass@wsesdvt.org.

Masking protocolThe CDC and the VDH have recommended optional masking since COVID-19 cases are currently low in our community. Early Education Services follows Head Start Performance standards and because our federal guidance supersedes state guidance, we will continue to require masking in our program for all children 2 and up as well as staff and visitors until further notice.

Thank you all for continuing to work with us to keep all of our children and staff safe during this pandemic.

Early Education Services’ Triennial Parent Child Center Peer Review will be on March 25th, and all of our program families, staff, community members and stakeholders are invited to attend!  We welcome you to take part in this great opportunity to learn more about EES services and contribute your thoughts and ideas!

Join us this month in celebrating berries!

Summer in Vermont yields bountiful harvests of many delicious varieties of berries that we share with our children in the meals we provide here at EES. There are many ways to enjoy these vitamin-rich fruits. Eat them on their own! Mix them in with breakfast! Blend them into a smoothie! They will also retain their highest nutritional value when frozen, so you can continue to enjoy these reminders of warmer months long after the summer has faded.
