Responsibilities include classroom and child observation, consultation with teachers, on-spot coaching, social skill building, behavioral assessment and behavior support planning, teacher training, and collaboration with families and outside agencies.
Knowledge of the Pyramid Model for supporting children’s social and emotional development preferred, but will provide training as necessary. This is a school-based position. Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, and 5 years experience working with young children both individually and in a group setting.
All candidates must be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively on a multi-disciplinary team. Hiring bonus will be paid in two installments: $500 at the end of a 3 month introductory period and $500 at the end of the first year of employment.
