Cook-  

Our part time Cook position at our Westminster, VT site, offers a Monday – Friday twenty (20) hours per week, year round schedule. Excellent benefits package includes offered health and dental insurance, retirement match, generous paid holidays, vacation, sick, personal and floating holiday time.

The cook reports to the Lead Cook and is part of our agency team. Primary tasks are meal planning and preparation for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Experience in family style cooking is a must. Knowledge in the Child Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and ServSafe certification is preferred; we are willing to train the right candidate.

Requirements: At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED with a basic knowledge of nutrition with 3 years’ related experience. Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Must pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment physical with the ability to lift 35 pounds and up to 50 pounds. Must agree to obtain ServSafe qualification within six months of hire.

Hourly rate commensurate with experience is $20.35-$22.01 per hour.
