Fatherhood Specialist- $24.70 – 27.23 /Hour (20-25 hours/week)
The Fatherhood Specialist reports to the Parent Child Center Manager and is part of our agency team, working 20-25 hours/week with a flexible schedule that includes some nights and weekends. Primary tasks are developing fatherhood community resource materials, facilitating Dedicated Dads group, and developing and implementing father and male friendly group activities. Additionally, this role coordinates with other EES staff involved with families to ensure a focus on family engagement, especially men’s issues and needs within specific families, as well as creating and organizing monthly parent education activities and materials. A background check and fingerprinting is required along with a pre-employment physical and TB screening questionnaire.
Minimum Qualifications: AA/AS degree in Human Services. Two (2) years’ experience working with men in group or individual settings. Experience working with at risk families. All candidates must be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
