Early Education Services
EES is the Parent Child Center for the Southeastern region of Vermont. EES programs include: Early Head Start and Head Start classrooms (Brattleboro and Westminster), Early Head Start Home Visitors, Welcome Baby, playgroups, parent education and support groups, information and referral, and the Fatherhood Program.

Vermont 2-1-1/Help Me Grow
2-1-1 is a great way to get information on resources and can be dialed from anywhere in Vermont. Help Me Grow, a program of 2-1-1, specifically helps with questions about children’s behavior and development.

Winston Prouty Center for Child and Family Development
Offers many programs for families with young children including: Early Learning Center, Children’s Integrated Services, Family Supportive Housing Program, parent education classes/support groups, and child care assistance and referral.

Early Education Services partners with the Vermont Department of Health’s 802 Quits program, to support Vermonters in reducing their nicotine or tobacco use and/or exposure. If you are interested in participating in this program, our Parent Child Center staff are trained to help support you!
Vermont’s 15 Parent Child Centers are community-based, welcoming hubs that provide a range of services and programs to support families. Working together as a Network, Parent Child Centers are partners in Vermont’s systems of care for pregnant and parenting families with children under age six to ensure that children thrive in safe, stable, and nurturing environments and parents have the support, information and resources that are critical to helping children thrive and improving outcomes.
