Child Care Workers

Do you love working with children? Early Education Services, our region’s Parent Child Center, is looking for Evening Child Care Workers for Brattleboro and Westminster. We offer 2.0-20 hours a month, per diem. Most shifts are 2-3 hours and start at 4 or 5pm. Dinner is included. Great for those older than 16 who have experience working with children and love to have fun!

Brattleboro

$500 Hiring Bonus for Early Head Start and Head Start Teacher positions and Behavior Support Specialist!

Early Childhood Teachers:

Early Head Start Lead Teacher-  Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or 30-36 related college credits. Experience working with Infants and Toddlers. Must have strong leadership skills and supervisory experience.

Early Head Start Infant/Toddler Teacher-  Associate or Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or 30-36 related college credits. Experience working with young children birth-age 3.

Head Start Preschool Teacher-  Associate or Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or 30-36 related college credits. Experience working with with young children ages 3-5.

Assistant Teachers-  High School diploma and successful completion of Fundamentals for Early Childhood Professionals training series or a college level Child Development course, and experience working with young children.

 

Other Staff:

Behavior Support Specialist

Provide positive behavior support to young children, classroom support and individualized coaching for early childhood staff. Knowledge of the Pyramid Model for supporting children’s social and emotional development helpful, but will provide training as necessary. Assist in developing positive behavior support plans, develop and maintain essential relationships with community partners, provide parent education and support for families, and professional development for staff. This is a school-based position. Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, and experience providing behavior support to young children both individually and in groups.

Education Administrative Assistant   

We are seeking a dynamic and talented individual with excellent interpersonal skills who will be our Canal St. School reception area point-person, and will provide ongoing administrative assistance to our Education Team. Our candidate must be upbeat, friendly, able to deal with the public at a high pace rate, multi-task, manage a variety of projects and deadlines with regular interruptions, and have impeccable time management and computer skills.  Minimum of a high school diploma required.

Preschool Substitute Teacher (Maternity Leave Coverage)-  This is a full-time, temporary (12 week) non-benefited position. Experience with young children required.
