Child Care Workers

Do you love working with children? Early Education Services, our region’s Parent Child Center, is looking for Evening Child Care Workers for Brattleboro and Westminster. We offer 2.0-20 hours a month, per diem. Most shifts are 2-3 hours and start at 4 or 5pm. Dinner is included. Great for those older than 16 who have experience working with children and love to have fun!

Brattleboro

$500 Hiring Bonus for Full-time Teacher Positions

Early Childhood Teachers:

Early Head Start Infant/Toddler Teacher-  Associate or Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or 30-36 related college credits. Experience working with young children birth-age 3.

Head Start Preschool Teacher-  Associate or Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or 30-36 related college credits. Experience working with with young children ages 3-5.

Assistant Teachers-  High School diploma and successful completion of Fundamentals for Early Childhood Professionals training series or a college level Child Development course, and experience working with young children.

 

All candidates must be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively on a multi-disciplinary team. Non-Teaching Positions:

Behavior Support Specialist-  ($1000 Hiring Bonus) Responsibilities include classroom and child observation, consultation with teachers, on-spot coaching, social skill building, behavioral assessment and behavior support planning, teacher training, and collaboration with families and outside agencies.

Knowledge of the Pyramid Model for supporting children’s social and emotional development preferred, but will provide training as necessary. This is a school-based position. Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, and 5 years experience working with young children both individually and in a group setting.

Facilities Coordinator-   Early Education Services is seeking a full-time year round Facilities Coordinator who is a highly motivated, self-starter with working knowledge and experience in maintaining public buildings and grounds to join our Facilities Team. Our ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, motivation, desire and ability to reliably maintain clean and safe environments for our young children and their families. Basic computer knowledge and experience is required. Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a Criminal Record Check before hire. $14.00 to $17.00/hour, commensurate with experience. An excellent benefit package, which also includes 403 (b) plan with up to 4% employer match, dental insurance and health insurance with 90% employer paid premiums.
