Eligibility Specialist    

Join the Early Education Services Team as our Eligibility Specialist!

Early Education Services, (EES) Windham County’s Head Start/Early Head Start and Parent-Child Center seeks a new member to join our Family Services Team.  Our candidate will have, at minimum, an associate degree in human services, social work, or a related field, with knowledge and demonstrated understanding of adult development, family systems, diversity, and community resources.  Our candidate must be able to assist families to navigate Head Start and Vermont Child Care Financial Assistance Program eligibility requirements with strong and effective communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and organizational skills for data and records collection.

Full-time position.  $13-$15/hr commensurate with qualifications.

Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant

Provide monthly mental health consultation and support to early childhood staff. Conduct occasional classroom and child observations, training and coaching to staff, parent education and support. Flexible schedule, up to 30 hours per month.  LICSW or LMHC required.

Behavior Support Specialist

Provide positive behavior support to young children, classroom support and individualized coaching for early childhood staff. Knowledge of the Pyramid Model for supporting children’s social and emotional development preferred, but will provide training as necessary. Develop and support teachers in implementing positive behavior support plans. Develop and maintain essential relationships with community partners. Provide parent education and support to families. This is a school-based position. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, and experience working with young children both individually and in a group setting.

Fatherhood Specialist

Part-Time Position 6 hrs/week  $14.90-$15.40 commensurate with qualifications

Our successful candidate will have experience working with men in a group, experience working with low-income families, and at minimum, a bachelor degree in a field related to human services.  Must have strong communication skills, proficient working knowledge of computers and office software, organizational and facilitation skills, a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.  Our Fatherhood Specialist conducts weekly meetings with an established group of young men/fathers and participates in any relevant community groups that will advance the work of our fatherhood groups toward the goal of promoting positive parenting for fathers.
